Experience the Magic of A Carillon Christmas
This holiday season, Carillon Historical Park invites the Dayton community to immerse themselves in a festive wonderland—A Carillon Christmas. From November 25 through December 30, the park transforms into a dazzling spectacle filled with lights, music, and holiday cheer, open nightly from 5 to 9 p.m., and until 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. This beloved annual tradition is perfect for families looking to create unforgettable memories together.
Traditions and Attractions to Spark Joy
A Carillon Christmas features a variety of enchanting activities for visitors of all ages. Among the highlights are the iconic Carillon Tree of Light, the delightful Deeds Carillon Christmas Concerts, and the magical Midnight Express miniature train rides. Children can meet Santa Claus, write letters to him at the historic Newcom Tavern, and marvel at the puppet show inspired by Beatrix Potter’s The Tailor of Gloucester.
Food lovers will find plenty to enjoy with snacks and meals available at various cafes throughout the park—like the Carillon Christmas Café and Roundhouse Café. Whether it’s savoring homemade gingerbread cookies or indulging in mulled cider, the seasonal treats contribute to the joyful atmosphere. For unique holiday gifts, the museum stores offer a selection of locally-themed merchandise as well as timeless memorabilia.
