Wells Enterprises, a company based in Iowa, issued the recall on April 25, 2025, according to a recent statement from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The recall affects 22 different flavors of ice cream and frozen yogurt, all packaged in 3-gallon tubs and distributed to 103 locations across the U.S., including Le Mars, Iowa; Wyoming, Michigan; Rosemont, Illinois; Houston, Texas; and Fort Worth, Texas.
The impacted products have “Best If Used By” dates ranging from March 2026 to October 2026.
The FDA has classified this as a Class II recall, which means the product may cause temporary or medically reversible health effects, though the chance of serious injury is low.
As of Sunday, no injuries or adverse reactions have been reported.
